Columbia University has a warehouse of used office furniture that needs to be cleared out with in the next 3 weeks. We are trying to find new homes for all of the furniture so if your non-profit, small local green or minority owned business, or NYC public school needs office furniture you're welcome to have it. We have cubicle partitions, office desks, office chairs, tables, filing cabinets, etc. All are in good working order, some "prettier" then others. You will need to arrange your own truck and moving of the furniture as we do not have anyone to help with that, but again all the furniture is free. If you are interested, please send an email to environment@columbia.edu with the subject "I need furniture" prior to September 19 to schedule a time to do a pick-up. If you know of an organization that might be interested or in need, please pass this on. Thanks, Cathy
