A Different Children's Movie Each Week for a Buck!

Going to the movies is something kids love to do, but with the cost of tickets these days (not to mention the cost of snacks and drinks at the theater), it isn't something most families can afford to do very often. Well, thanks to AMC theaters, families in many cities can enjoy a different movie each week at their local theater--for a Buck! AMC Theatres are inviting kids, families, camp groups, or other organizations to their AMC Summer Movie Camp. Participation theaters are located in several different cities across the nation--Cleveland, OH; Atlanta, GA; Baltimore, MD; Boston, MA; Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL; Dallas, TX; Detroit, MI; Indianapolis, IN; Los Angeles, CA; Miami, FL; New Orleans, LA; New York, NY; Omaha, NE; Phoenix, AZ; Philadelphia, PA; Seattle, WA; Tulsa, OK; and many more. Check their website for exact participating theater locations here.

The AMC Summer Movie Camp is a program in which there is a different children's movie shown at the theater each Wednesday of the summer, from June 27 through August 15 (excluding July 4). Here are the movies that are scheduled to be shown:

June 27: Happy Feet
July 11:Ice Age: The Meltdown
July 18:Barnyard: The Original Party Animals
July 25:Flushed Away
August 1:Charlotte's Web
