Free Movie: Flammen & Citronen

Based on true events, this political thriller is an ultra stylized spy noir on the murky moral complexities of wartime. In Copenhagen, 1944, World War II is entering its final stages while Denmark remains occupied. Two resistance fighters, Flame and Citron become heroes of the underground while dealing violently with traitors to their cause. But when the pair is sent to execute Flame’s lover, Ketty, the line between ally and enemy becomes blurred.Directed by Christian Madsen (130 min, Denmark, 2009) This is a SPECIAL PREVIEW SCREENING from our friends at the JCC but you will have to register with them in order to see this feature.
